How to Make Tostones in the Microwave

Tostones just got a major upgrade—crispy. golden. and so much easier to make! Steam plantains to tender perfection in the microwave using an Anyday dish. To get that classic crunch. give them a quick smash and transfer to the air fryer or oven—no deep-fryer needed! The result? Crunchy on the outside. soft on the inside. and no oily splatter in sight. Serve them with garlic sauce. mojo. or any dip you like—easy and mess-free.

All of Anyday’s recipes are tested (and retested!) in many different microwaves and home kitchens to make sure they work — and work well. Unless specified otherwise. all recipes should be cooked at full power.
